Fred Rewey of Nomad Cigars newest release the Nomad Martial Law. An amped up version of the Esteli Lot 8613. The 8613 was one of his most popular blends and Fred wanted to make a variation with a tad more punch, usher in the Martial Law.
Wanting to make a double ligero version of the 8613, Rewey eventually got to the blend used for the Martial Law. A four-region, Nicaraguan blend of tobacco goodness. Martial Law is a single 6x50 toro vitola that uses a habano wrapper, Jalapa binder and Nicaraguan fillers. Rewey said the blend uses tobacco from all four of Nicaragua’s main growing regions: Condega, Estelí, Jalapa and Ometepe.
Bold yet smooth this cigar is extremely flavorful, right in line with the other cigars being produced at the Black Label Trading Company factory, Fabrica Oveja Negra. Rich cedar and molasses notes coat the palate. These notes are followed by a hint of leather and spice that linger on the palate as a creamy vanilla tone.
